When Evergreen approached the Helen McCrea Peacock Foundation to support their exciting new Brick Works project there was an instant connection. The project spoke to the very roots of the family as an environmental restoration project.  K.W. Peacock, founder of the family Foundation, was in the construction business, and Helen McCrea Peacock was an avid gardener and nature lover, it was a natural fit. The Evergreen Brick Works project is now nearing the final stretch of its fund raising requirements and with the addition of even more like minded donors will soon be offering a place to experience leading edge ecological programming, community activities, arts initiatives, and more for generations to come.

The Helen McCrea Peacock Foundation focuses their granting on high-impact environmental projects in Ontario.  Now a third generation family foundation the Helen McCrea Peacock Foundation joined the Toronto Community Foundation family of Funds to take advantage of our administrative expertise which allows the Fundholders to keep their focus on what’s important, making powerful environmental grants.
