Social enterprise–the next frontier
Nadine Peazer, Founder and Director, ANASA Collective
As the Founder and Executive Director of ANASA, Nadine supports under-serviced girls and women through their growth and developmental changes from a holistic perspective.
Through her innovation and hard work, she’s created inspiring, inventive economic development practices and civic engagement opportunities for young women in Scarborough.
Nadine is clearly a rising leader in the field of social enterprise support for youth in marginalized communities. She’s worked with the Schools Without Borders Emerge Leaders program, as an Arts Fund Developer for Elevated Grounds, and has been involved in research and consultation with an incredible list of organizations including: The Remix Project, Gashanti University, Lost Lyrics, and San Romanoway Revitalization Association, to name a few. The partnerships she's managed to build with like-minded organizations are impressive and her leadership has resulted in the creation of accessible career, pre-employment, and entrepreneurial training resources at ANASA.
Nadine will use her Vital People grant towards courses in strategic organizational change and non-profit management at Schulich School of Business.
