Amanda Grainger-Munday is the Communications Manager at Framework Foundation whose Timeraiser events connect people to causes they care about – helping to re-ignite the spirit of volunteerism in Toronto and around Canada.

At Framework, Amanda has taken on the overall communications strategy, which includes building dynamic social media campaigns and web tool implementations.

She also played an instrumental role in launching Framework’s new Platformation program, an online resource for members of the charitable sector interested in implementing free and low-cost online and mobile technology into their IT infrastructure.

Amanda also plays the role of instructor, teaching a course at George Brown College in Facebook Marketing for Small Businesses. Beyond her college course, she is frequently engaged to speak at conferences or to NGO groups who wish to learn more about technology.

Amanda will use her Vital People grant to attend two international conferences focusing on technology, and at one, specifically technology for non-profits. This will also assist her in expanding her professional network and discovering other innovators working in the not-for-profit field.

Amanda's Vital People grant is funded through the Vital Toronto Fund at the Toronto Community Foundation.
